Pet diner opens

A Chinese restaurant is welcoming pets - at its tables. The Paradise Pet club in Shanghai lets owners bring their animals to dinner - and even offers them their very own menu. Although the eatery originally intended to attract dogs, customers have also brought their cats and even the odd rabbit in for a snack. One customer, Chen Shiyuan, said: "My pets can make friends and enjoy food particularly made for them here." General manager Liu Xiaomei said: "We disinfect our dishes three times everyday. And all the members are asked to provide a health certificate for their pets before entering the club."
