(BANG) - An Indian businessman is giving people the chance to experience air travel for just £2 - without ever leaving the ground.

Passengers - who cannot afford to fly - are able to sit on a plane, listen to announcements and being waited on by flight attendants.

Bahadur Chand Gupta's Airbus 300 only has one wing, has no lighting and the toilets are out of order but it has proved a huge success in a country where 99% of the population have never experienced air travel.

'Captain' Gupta - who bought the palne in 2003 from an insurance company - said: "Some of my passengers have crossed the country to get on this plane."
