It is one of the most preferred games for children who do not like to play violent games. Good qualities of this game is its dial screen design, backlight screen, higher resolution display than Game Boy advance SP, backward compatible with older GBA games, built in support for wireless gaming and standard size headphone jack. However the game is somewhat bulky but it is quite interesting gaming on the go and best for gaming fans who are bored of computers. It is a good way to while away the hours during airplane flights. The Nintendo DS contains a rechargeable battery. Although the battery is removable, it is only meant to be removed when it expires and must be replaced. Battery life is affected by multiple factors, including speaker volume, use of one or both screens, and backlighting. In the DS, Nintendo has finally created a piece of hardware to match the quirky production aesthetic that has characterized its long line of games. Its new features present in the machine had provoked unique game development, attracted developers, appeals to both older gamers and non-gamers alienated by normal input methods and allows Nintendo to retain its status as leader of the handheld game console market. Despite its increased size, the DS isn't too heavy it tips the scales at 9.7 ounces. Since using either the directional pad or the thumb stylus requires that you hold the unit in two hands, the added weight is easily managed. Nintendo particularly is attempting to differentiate the DS from other game machines, including the Sony PSP, which is a somewhat more traditional gaming device. The Nintendo DS is currently the leader of the two in total worldwide unit sales, though the two devices debuted in different places at different times.
