Mary Alice Young

Mary Alice Young is a fictional character of the ABC hit television series, Desperate Housewives. The character role is played by popular American actress, Brenda Strong. She joined the cast of the show as Mary Alice Young in 2004. The show started with the Mary suicide, who narrates the episodes from beyond the grave. Mary was a suburban housewife who commits suicide leaving a mystery behind. The show, Desperate Housewives then centers on Mary other four friends, "Susan Mayer, Lynette Scarvo, Bree Van De Kamp and Gabrielle Solis.
