Lana Lang

Lana Lang is the name of the fictional character played by Canadian actress and supermodel on the Superman stories in Smallville. Lana Lang is a love interest of Carl Kent - Superman. Lana and Carl grew up together; she lived next door to Carl house in Smallville. She is blessed with a 'bio-genetic' ring which allows her to gain insect characteristics. She is also known as the 'Insect Queen' and had several adventures. She and Lois both have super powers and they fight with each other for superman’s love. After graduating she worked as a television reporter and later became an anchorperson for WGBS-TV's evening news in Metropolis. She is now a co-anchor to Clark Kent.
