Julia Barr

Emmy Award-wining actress Julia Barr was born on February 8 1949. She grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In June 1976 she landed the role of Brooke English in famous soap opera, "All My Children". Inn between she took 15 months break because of her tour with Katharine Hepburn and Dorothy Loudon in the national company of West Side Waltz. For her performance as Brooke English in "All My Children" she nominated for eight times in, 1980, 1981, 1990, 1991, 1993, 1994, 1998, and 2001. She won the trophy twice in 1990 and 1998 for “Outstanding Supporting Actress. Her film credits include I, the Jury, and her off-Broadway credits include Kerouac. Julia Barr is not only a famous actress but also an advocate of animal rights. In her spare time she believes in spaying and neutering, and is a spokesperson for the Fund for Animals.
