Jonathan Kent is the name of the famous fictional character, played by American television and movie actor, John Schneider on the super boy series, "Smallville". Jonathan Kent also famous as Pa Kent is originally created by DC Comics. Jonathan is the adoptive father of Clark Kent (Superman). He lives in small town 'Smallville', USA with wife Martha Kent. Jonathan and Martha Kent were the first to come across the rocket that brought the infant Kal-El to Earth. Just like other father, Jonathan is strong, strict and possessive for Clark. He always encourages Clark to use his powers for the betterment of humanity. Jonathan Kent died after Clark graduated from high school.
