Celebrity Fit ClubVH1's Celebrity Fit Club is hosted by comedian Ant. It is one unique reality series, which is about much more than diet and exercise. It's a simple concept: Eight overweight stars are divided into two teams and challenged to get fit and lose weight over a 14 week period. Along the way they will each: Be publicly weighed in every show individually and as teams on a pair of giant scales. Be called to account by show supervising panel, which will be aware of every half-hearted sit-up and every sneaked donut. Have the deepest secrets of their diet and lifestyle revealed. Deal with the antagonism of the rival team's celebrities as the weight-loss battle, which gets intense. It's an emotional show but it's often funny and never downbeat. The show gives great encouragement to all those trying to loose a few pounds. It shows that anyone can get to the place where they may need to take a pound or two off, even a celebrity and gives great ideas of things to try. It is an ITV and VH1 series following 8 overweight celebrities.
