The New York Yankees are major league baseball team, which is based in The Bronx, New York City. The Yankees have won 26 World Series in 39 appearances. Yankees are the only team that is represented at every position in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Among the North American major sports, their success is only approached by the 24 Stanley Cup championships of the Montreal Canadians of the National Hockey League. The Yankees theme song "Here Come the Yankees, 1967" was composed by Bob Bundin and Lou Stallman.
