Triple H

Paul Michael Levesque better known as Triple H is an American professional wrestler. Paul was born on July 27, 1969 in Nashua, New Hampshire. His wrestling career started in 1993 by joining the World Championship Wrestling under the name Terra Ryzin and then changed it to Jean-Paul Lavesque. He teamed Pery Saturn to form The Eliminators, and later Lord Steven Regal. In 1995 he left WCW and joined the World Wrestling Federation and changed his name to Hunter Hearst Lemsley from which he later got his current nickname Triple H. He joined the "Clique" team along with Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman and Scott Hall. After the MSG incident he and the whole team were suspended. Mr. Perfect became his manager and led him to win his first Intercontinental Championship fighting Marc Mero, and after four months lost it to Rocky Maivia. Anyway, he got the WrestleMania 13 defeating Goldust. In 1997 Paul won the King of the Ring defeating Mankind. Along with Shawn Michaels, Chyna and Rick Rude formed D-Generation X and adopted the name Triple H. In 1998 at the Royal Rumble he suffered from back injury and was forced to retire. Later that year, when he got back to wrestling, Triple H feud The Rock and won the Nation of Domination title. After many attempts finally Triple H along with Mankind defeated “Cold Steve Austin” at the SummerSlam 1999 and won the championship. He also defeated the biggest WWF superstars on that time: The Rock, Mick Foley, Steve Austin, Vince McMahon, Undertaker and Kurt Angle often using his dirty technique which by he gained his fan's hatred: the sledgehammer. By 2000 Triple H was a three times WWE Champion and a WrestleMania 2000 champion. Since 2000 Triple H has defeated and been defeated many times, but the most difficult time was when in 2001 he suffered a tear in his left quadriceps muscle, causing it to come completely off the bone. An operation was performed later in Bormingham and required seven months of rehabilitation. After his recovery he won and completed his record for being a ten times world champion, five times World Heavyweight Champion, four times WWE Championship and one time WWE Undisputed Champion. Paul and his wife Stephanie MacMahon are expecting their first baby on July 2006. Triple H currently wrestles on the RAW brand of World Wrestling Entertainment.
