NHL: Los Angeles 3, Anaheim 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Alexander Frolov scored two goals Sunday as the Los Angeles Kings cooled off the red-hot Anaheim Ducks, 3-2.

Dan Cloutier made 27 saves and Derek Armstrong had a goal and an assist for the Kings, who snapped a two-game losing streak, while putting an end to Anaheim's five-game winning streak.

Todd Marchant and Ryan Getzlaf scored goals and Ilja Bryzgalov made 30 saves for the Ducks before leaving the game in the third period with an injured leg. Jean-Sebastien Giguere went the rest of the way, making eight saves on nine shots.

Anaheim opened the scoring with a first-period power-play goal. Dustin Penner passed to Chris Pronger, who faked a shot and then fed Getzlaf seven minutes into the game.

The Kings tied it on a power-play goal when Lubomir Visnovsky fed Frolov for a score at 18:11 of the first.

Armstrong made it 2-1 at 9:25 of the second and the Kings went up 3-1 with 1:16 left to play when Frolov scored his second goal.

Marchant scored the Ducks' second goal with 38 seconds left, but that's as far as Anaheim could go.

Los Angeles was 1-for-8 on the power play, while Anaheim was 1-for-3.
