CINCINNATI, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Carson Palmer completed 21-of-32 passes for 234 yards and a touchdown Thursday night as the Cincinnati Bengals beat Baltimore, 13-7.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh picked up 106 yards on 10 receptions, and scored a touchdown on a 40-yard flea-flicker for the Bengals (7-5) -- who won their third straight and stayed in contention in the wild-card race. Cincinnati trails first-place Baltimore (9-3) by two games in the AFC North.

Chad Johnson caught eight passes for 91 yards for Cincinnati.

Ravens quarterback Steve McNair went 26-of-43 for 227 yards and a touchdown, and Derrick Mason had seven catches for 90 yards. Mason scored on a 36-yard completion with just over a minute to play -- denying the Bengals their second straight shout.

It would have been the first time in franchise history that Cincinnati posted back-to-back shutouts, but they still set a team defensive record with seven straight scoreless quarters.

The loss ended a five-game Ravens winning streak.
