DENVER, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Allen Iverson had 35 points and sank a key three-pointer and two late free throws Saturday night to lead the Denver Nuggets past Minnesota 111-108.

Carmelo Anthony had 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Marcus Camby added 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Nuggets, who have won two straight.

Rashad McCants scored 23 for Minnesota, which fell to 5-34 on the season.

The Timberwolves led 108-104 when Iverson hit a trey to make it 108-107 with just over a minute to play. Then he put the Nuggets ahead 109-108 with a 12-footer with les than 30 seconds to go.

With 6.4 seconds left, Minnesota fouled Iverson and he hit both free throws to seal the victory.
