John Cena

John Felix Anthony Cena is known for being an American Wrestler and also a rapper who performs on World Wrestling Entertainment. He was born on April 23, 1977 in West Newbury, Massachusetts. He studied Exercise Physiology at Springfield College were he also used to play football and was a bodybuilder. Cena started his wrestling career by creating the character “The Prototype”, in 2000. He moved from Ultimate Pro Wrestling to World Wrestling Entertainment with whom he signed a contract. He was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling. Some of the other characters he played were “Big Tim Kingman” and “Lead Hunter”. On June 27, 2003 in Chicago, Cena participated and was first televised in a wrestling match in which he lost. Later, in a WWE Tag Team Championship again lost against Billy Kidman. He also feuded against the Undertaker, Chris Benoit, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero. On the Survivor Series he participated on a team led by Kurt Angle with Benoit, Bradshaw and Hardcore Holly against Lesnar, Bog Show, Nathan Jones, Matt Morgan and A-Train. Only he and Benoit survived and had to fight each other. Meanwhile he developed his unique way of fighting which evolved in form and in name. In 2004 John took part on the final 6 in the Royal Rumble until eliminated by Big Show. They both again feuded at the WrestleManiaXX match in which Cena won the United States Championship. He also won the No Mercy title after winning Booker T but then lost to debuting Carlito. After recovering from a kidney puncture, Cena returned for revenge and won the SmackDown for third time. In 2005 Cena feuded and lost Batista at the Royal Rumble and John Bradshaw Layfield, then lost his United States Championship against Orlando Jordan. But on April defeated John Bradshaw and won his first WWE Championship and again beat him at the “I Quit” match. On June 6 John became the first wrestler drafted in the annual WWE Draft Lottery. After feuding and winning Chris Jericho in a “You’re Fired Match” Kurt Angle attacked Cena. Later they had to face each other at the Unforgiven match. Cena lost by disquialification after hitting Angle with the WWE title belt. In the Survivor Series they met again at the ring and this time Cena won. In 2006 Cena has won to Kane, Kurt Angle, Carlito, Chris Masters Shawn Michaels and even though lost to Edge, later he defeated him and regain the WWE Champioship. In addition to the wrestling Cena has performed as a rapper and hip-hop singer. He features the WWE soundtrack album “WWR Originals” with his “Basic Thugonomics” song and in the “Theme Addict” album with the “Untouchables”. He has also recorded two song videos for two of his tracks, “Bad, Bad Man” and “Right Now”. WWE Films produced his first movie “The Marine” which will be showing on September this year.
