COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Mario Chalmers scored 18 points Saturday to help third-ranked Kansas remain one of only two unbeaten teams in Division I play with a 76-70 win over Missouri.

Darnell Jackson and Brandon Rush each had 13 points and nine rebounds for the Jayhawks (18-0, 3-0 Big 12), who continued their best start since the 1996-97 team opened the year with a school-best 22-0 record.

Kansas and Memphis are the only unbeaten teams left in Division I, after North Carolina suffered its first loss Saturday to Maryland.

Stefhon Hannah had 23 points and six assists to pace Missouri (11-7, 1-2).
