Glen Thomas Jacobs was born on April 26, 1967 in Madrid Spain and raised in Nashville Tennessee, USA. He is known by his wrestling name Kane. His wrestling career began in 1992 as Angus King. He appeared in the United States Wrestling Association and Smoky Mountain Wrestling. In 1993 Glen joined the World Wrestling Federation in which he appeared as different characters: the masked Black Knight, the evil dentist and Diesel. In 1997 Jabobs adopted the Kane character and feuded his brother, The Undertaker. Kane's character is known for being psychologically unstable: depressed, schizophrenic, extremely violent and quick to anger. His half brother at first refused to fight him, but after Kane’s conduct, defeated him. Since the match between the brothers persisted, Kane got the opportunity to defeat The Undertaker and won the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. Later, along with Mankind he also won the WWF World Tag Team Championship. A year after, in 1999, Kane allied with his brother after being betrayed by a Corporation partner, but split soon after and Kane teamed X-Pac and was betrayed by him also. Kane defeated him at WrestleMania 2000, but suffered hand injury. Kane along with the Undertaker and The Rock feuded the McMahon-Helmsley Faction. By his self also fought Vince, Triple H, again The Undertaker and Chris Jericho. In 2001 he fought Raven and won the WrestleMania X-Seven title. Later teaming with his brother they formed the "Brothers of Destruction". Kane along with is brother and other times alone feuded with Edge, Christian, Rikishi, Haku, The two-Man Power Trip, Triple H -to whom he won the WWF Intercontinental Championship but lost it to Albert. They also fought Diamond Dallas Page, Kanyon, KroniK, Kurt Angle, Bradshaw, nWo, the Un- Americans and The Hurricane and won the World Tag Team Championship. Kane teamed Rob Van Dam. Later he was also offered to team Triple H, but didn’t, instead he accepted Steve Austin’s invitation and fought Triple H but were defeated. He fought many more wrestlers: Snitsky, Rey Misterio, Spirit Squad and others. Kane is currently wrestling on the RAW brand of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
