Scott Savol

Scott Savol - He is one of the nine finalists from the "American Idol". He is funny and he is talented and sings with the deep emotion. Scott Savol is a 28-year-old from Shaker Heights, OH who auditioned in Cleveland. Born in Cleveland, Scott Savol has been singing since he was 5 years old. Amazingly, he had no formal music training, besides choir class in high school. Apart from singing he also plays trumpet and piano. Before his coming to the hit reality tv show "American Idol" he has also performed in many city festivals, church and school functions. He has a criminal history after being arrested by police in February 2001 for beating his girlfriend "Michele Martin" with whom he is married now and has a son. He was said to have lost his temper, cursed at Martin then hit her in the chest with a telephone receiver. But what he has done back in 2001 should not effect him on the show. He is an amazing entertainer and deserves a second chance to prove himself as a good man in society.
