A bluegrass singer and virtuoso fiddle player "Alison Krauss" is born on July 23, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. She is the most successful bluegrass singer who has a record of many several platinum selling albums. Throughout her career, she has won almost seventeenth Grammy awards which are more than any other women. The country singe "Alison" is best known for her work on the O Brother, Where Art Thou? It is a track from the movie "Down from the Mountain". She has a band called "Union Station" and its members include: Barry Bales, Ron Block, Jerry Douglas and Dan Tyminski.
