Terrence Malick has withdrawn his film, 'The New World'

American film director, Terrence Malick has reportedly withdrawn his latest film, 'The New World' from cinemas as he feels the film requires more editing. The director has withdrawn his film just after nine days from its released date and is confident that his cuts will be beneficial. 'The New World' is an historical adventure, inspired by the historical figures, Captain John Smith and Pocahontas. The film will be 15 minutes shorter when it will be released nationally on 20 January 2006
