Summer Is Slime Time for Nickelodeon

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- It's green, it's gooey and it's covered some of the world's most popular stars.

Nickelodeon has made slime desirable -- after all, it's the highest honor given at the network's annual Kids Choice Awards, good enough for Johnny Depp, Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake.

Beginning July 2, that famous slime will be coming to a city near you. Nickelodeon's Slime Across America tour features an 18-wheel slime mobile that is slated to visit 20 cities and unload 1,200 gallons of the green goo.

Among the cities scheduled for sliming are Seattle, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Cincinnati and New York. Highlights of the tour will be broadcast on Nick weekdays from 5 to 7 p.m.
