Gershon siblings set to sell 'Creepy Time'

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Actress Gina Gershon and her brother, Dann Gershon, are set to sell the Hollywood film rights to their children's book, "Camp Creepy Time."

The book about a 13-year-old boy evading alien camp counselors is reportedly being courted for a film adaptation by Nick Movies and DreamWorks, which The Hollywood Reporter said are in final negotiations with the Gershons.

Screenwriter Richard LaGravenese is also said to be in talks to write the screenplay and direct the movie.

LaGravenese has previously adapted such literary works for the big screen as Robert James Waller's novel, "The Bridges of Madison County."

The paper said the children's book by Gina Gershon -- who appeared in "Bound" and "Showgirls" -- and her brother is set to be released by Putnam Juvenile next spring.
