ATLANTA, May 9 (UPI) -- Nancy Grace is leaving Court TV to concentrate on her CNN Headline News program for the Atlanta-based news organization.

Sources told Variety it is a move Grace had been contemplating for a while. The former prosecutor had been on Court TV for more than a decade.

Grace has anchored three hours of live shows daily on the two networks since 2005. She will wind up her tenure on Court TV at the end of the summer.

Court TV said in February it would trim her two-hour show to one hour and hired Star Jones, the former co-host on "The View" and also a former prosecutor, who will start a show this fall.
