Chow Yun Fat will donate upon death

HONG KONG, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Actor Chow Yun-Fat has revealed that he is planning to donate his $128 million estate to charity in Hong Kong when he dies.

Yun-Fat, 51, added that he and his wife, Jasmine Tan, do not plan to have another child after their baby girl was miscarried, China Radio International reported Tuesday.

He said that he decided to give all of his money to charity since it was given to him by the society anyway.

Although the couple has decided to use the money for charity, they have not decided what sort of charity will get the money.

Tan reportedly wants to start a foundation to help the needy and is talking with their lawyer about the specific measures.

Fellow Hong Kong superstar Jackie Chan also announced last year that he would be donating half of his wealth to charity when he dies.
