Hamas

Hamas is the name of the Palestinian Radical Islamist movement. Hamas is a political party founded by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin in 1987. This community mostly includes Muslim people as it’s closely related to Muslim brotherhood. The group co-founder is Abdel Aziz al-Rantissi. In 2006 Palestinian Legislative Council elections, Hamas won by nearly 42.9% vote. However, due to its support for suicide bombings and terrorism, U.S. government has declared that it will not deal with them. The organization is also against accepting Israel's right to exist. Israeli president and ex-prime minister, Moshe Katsav and Shimon Peres earlier stated that "Hamas will accept Israel's right to exist and give up terror only when Israel will negotiate with the organization". Countries like Europe, United States, Canada and Israel have listed 'Hamas' in one of the terrorist groups. Hamas is continuously involved in attacking and targeting Israeli civilians. Hamas is financially very sound and known for making generous payments to suicide bombers families.
