VOGUE editor attacked with a tofu pie

Anna Wintour, the VOGUE editor in chief had recently attacked with a tofu pie on October 8, 2005. Wintour, who strongly believes in use of fur in fashionable clothes, was attacked by anti-fur protestors while she was attending the Chloe fashion show in the French capital. The vice president of PETA, Dan Matthews, said the attack was instigated by the magazine's decision to run advertisements for fur based clothing despite their offer of matching the fee in return for PETA anti-fur advertisements. This is the second time in a year when Wintour was struck with a vegetarian food.
