French fashion designer Louis Vuitton was born on August 4 1821. In 1854 he opened a luggage store in Paris. He started with light weight luggages and that was bought by France's Empress Eugénie. In 1980, when his son Georges got married Louis gave full control of his business to him. On February 27th, Louis Vuitton died and after his death his son Georges made Louis Vuitton a worldwide corporation. Louis Vuitton is famous for luggages and handbags. Louis Vuitton products are usually sold in Vuitton stores.
