Johnny Depp is learning to speak French so his children dont think he is stupid

Johnny Depp is learning to speak French so his children don't think he is stupid. The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor - who lives in the European country with his long-term partner French star Vanessa Paradis - took a crash course in the language to keep up with his bilingual children. He told Britain's OK! magazine: "I still have the world's worst French accent but I'm working on it. "At least I can understand the language well enough to understand my children. They don't have to think their daddy is an idiot!" Depp revealed that Paradis converses with their children, Lily-Rose and Jack, in her native tongue, but they have to speak to him in English. He confessed: "I don't want my terrible French to corrupt them. My daughter is usually willing to make allowances for me and even says, 'Oh, c'est très bon, Papa!' (That's very good Dad). I love hearing that."
