Dr Dre Donates Cash

Recently Dr Dre has donated $1 million to the Julia C Hester House for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The Texas organization is going to give $20000 to 50 families that are affected by Hurricane Katrina. The families will be selected on the basis of criteria, established by hip-hop star. He said, "I wanted to be sure that my donation went directly into the hands of hurricane victims." Dr Dre is not the only celebrity who is contributing to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina, In September the famous rapper Eminem also donated cash to American Red Cross for the victims of Hurricane Katrina from his Shady Clothing line.
