Dakota Blue Richards' pie pastime

Dakota Blue Richards likes to shout "Chicken Pie!" at "random" strangers.

The 13-year-old star of 'The Golden Compass' revealed she and her friends love to surprise people on the street with the bizarre exclamation, and also enjoy doing impressions of Sacha Baron Cohen's popular Kazakhstani character from hit comedy film 'Borat...'.

Dakota told Britain's The Guardian newspaper: "I love to hang around with my friends Celeste, Grace and Olivia. We go to the seafront or the park.

"We do things like going up to random people on the street and shouting 'Chicken Pie!' at them then running away.

"We have all these really random phrases. We do Borat impressions and stuff. We're a bit weird."

When asked to demonstrate her Borat impression, she quipped: "Hallaw. My name isa Borat. Nize to meet you. Ver'Nize. High five!"

Dakota also recalls being disgusted when she once saw a "freak" wearing a Borat-style one-piece swimsuit during a visit to the beach.

She said: "We saw someone wearing a 'mankini' once when we were out. He was just lying there on the beach. Freak! And we were like, yeuch!

"My friend ran up to him and said 'High five' in a Borat voice and then ran away."

Dakota makes her acting debut in 'The Golden Compass' alongside Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig.
