Charlotte Church's father-loving foetus

(BANG) - Charlotte Church says her unborn baby misses its dad Gavin Henson when he isn't there.

The Welsh singer, who is expecting her first child with rugby star Gavin next month, claims the baby senses when his father is around.

She said: "Gavin is very supportive, and whenever he puts his hand over my bump, the baby kicks. There was one time when I was at a wedding - I'd been away all day and when I got home Gavin came and put his hand on my belly and I swear the baby tried to escape. It was like, 'Daddy I haven't heard your voice all day!' "

Although Charlotte is only 21, she says she and Gavin, 25, are ready for parenthood and it was something they discussed early in their relationship.

She added: "I told Gavin straight away when I found out I was pregnant. I felt really weird about telling him, though, but I was really excited too. I knew I had nothing to worry about. When we got together, Gavin and I both said we wouldn't be interested in anyone else and we talked about having kids reasonably young, although I expected to have them around 25."
