Brock Peters

On Tuesday Brock Peters died at the age of 78. Brock Peters started his Hollywood career from the landmark productions of "Carmen Jones" and "Porgy and Bess." He is also known for his heartbreaking performance as the black man. In January he had a diagnosed for pancreatic cancer. According to Marilyn Darby, his longtime companion, Peter was receiving chemotherapy after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Brock Peter was born on July 2, 1927 New York. His condition was worst in recent weeks and he died peacefully in bed on Tuesday. In recent years, he played Admiral Cartwright in two "Star Trek" films and appeared in numerous TV shows.
