Mercedes-Benz, commonly known as just Mercedes is a famous German company. Mercedes are the biggest and oldest manufacturers of automobiles, buses, coaches and trucks. The name Mercedes was originally acquired by an Austrian dealer 'Emil Jellinek', who stepped into the car business using the name of his daughter, Mercedes. The company was first used to produce land vehicles, but later Mercedes-Benz started producing power boats engines and airplanes engines. Mercedes has a logo of 3 pointed Silver Star enclosed in a circle. Mercedes-Benz is better known for maintaining and providing high quality vehicles to its customers. As a result, their products are often expensive and uncommon. Mercedes have also designed number of sports car models. The well-known existing Mercedes models includes, "W195 Speed Record-breaker, 300SL Gullwing, Fintail, 220SE Cabriolet, 600 Grand Mercedes, 300SEL 6.3, C111 experimental vehicle, Mercedes-Benz W107 350SL, 450SEL 6.9, 240D, 280, 300D, 190E 2.3-16 and Mercedes-Benz M-Class". The company competitors include, "BMW, Audi, Alfa Romeo, Jaguar and Lexus".
