Dhiren Barot, 34, pleaded guilty in Woolwich Crown Court to conspiring to stage a series of bomb attacks in the two countries, the BBC said. In addition to the NYSE, U.S. targets were said to include the International Monetary Fund and World Bank buildings in Washington, the Citigroup building in New York and the Prudential buildings in Newark, N.J. Barot said the attacks were "designed to kill as many innocent people as possible." Barot also said the plan was to use a radioactive "dirty bomb" in one of a series of attacks in Britain, the BBC said. Add to: Tags Related to Suspect admits U.S., Britain bomb plot |
