Access to audio books is easier than ever. The Edwardsville Public Library, is offering free downloads of audio books in a very easy digital format and MP3 player format. The service was started from March and growing with demand. These audio books are non-returnable and if you have a Windows-based (non-iPod) MP3 player or a computer, then you can download the audio books from authors such as Tom Clancy, Mary Higgins Clark and David McCullogh. You do not have to worry on returning the books as the download software automatically disable the access to book after completion of check out time period. Once the audio book is disabled, you can simply delete it from your computer or ipod and check for another book. There is no waiting for book to come back to library, as in this system the software even allows multiple using for its readers. Anyone issued with Edwardsville library card can enjoy the service of free download of audio book.
