Susan Lucci

Susan Lucci - born on December 23rd 1947 in Scarsdale, New York. Susan is an Italian actress and the winner of the Golden Apple Award in 1994 and a Daytime Emmy in 1998. Best known for her role as Erica Kane on the ABC television soap All My Children. In 1996, she acted in a feature film, "Daddy, You Kill Me", which was never released. She enrolled for Miss Universe Contest in 1968 and made it to the finals for Miss New York but had to withdraw herself from the contest due to college exams. She started casting for "All My Children" on ABC TV in 1970 and was awarded a role in 1999. She was also featured in other daytime dramas and TV movies such as Young Doctors in Love, Invitation to Hell, Mafia Princess, The Working Women's Survival Hour and 99 Ways to Attract the Right Man. She also became a Revelon women in 1986 and promoted thier perfume name "Scoundrel". From the period between 1990-1991 she starred as Sheila Foley in Dallas for six episodes. She has 2 children with husband Helmut Huber. In addition to her on-screen work Lucci also launched her collection of hair care products in 1991 and also released a special fragnance named after her called "Susan Lucci Invitation" which is available on her website and at WalMart. With more than 20 Emmy nominations, she has been honored with more acting nominations than any other performer in the history of television, daytime or primetime. Also, on January 28th, 2005 she received a star on the "Hollywood Walk of Fame".
