Maura Tierney

Maura Tierney is an Irish-American film and television actress who is best known for playing the role as Abby Lockhart on NBC drama series ER. She was born on February 3, 1965 in Boston, Massachusetts. She attended New York University and Circle in the Square Theatre School and even attended Notre Dame Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school in Hingham, Massachusetts. Maura Tierney is the daughter of former Boston City Council president Joseph Tierney. Her favorite food is Kraft macaroni & cheese. She lives in Los Angeles and New York together with her husband, Billy Morrissette, an actor-turned-director and with her pug named Rose Kennedy.
