Marcia Cross

Marcia Cross - She is one of the popular American actresses who is well known from her role as Dr. Kimberly Shaw on the hit drama Melrose Place. She was born on March 25, 1962 in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Raised in Massachusetts, she later left for Los Angeles to try her luck in theater. She graduated from Juilliard and earned a master's degree in psychology at Antioch University in Los Angeles. Her love for acting was discovered when she first took part in her first school play called "The Witch of Blackbird Pond" she was in sixth grade at the time. After that she took many parts in high school dramas. After her graduation and giving a few auditions in Los Angeles she started her acting career performing in both daytime and nighttime soap operas, such as Edge of Night, One Life to Live, Another World and Knots Landing. From TV soaps she quickly moved to TV films and movies. With a versatile background in theater, television and film, she is most recently noticed as Dr. Linda Abbott on critically acclaimed series Everwood. Her other on screen appearances include Seinfeld, Spin City, The Garry Shandling Show and King of Queens. Her dramatic roles include appearances on CSI, Profiler and Touched by an Angel. She also continued her education simultaneously while acting earning a clinical training and Master Degree in Psychology. Marcia Cross currently living in Los Angeles.
