Jerry O'Connell

Jerry O'Connell - February 17, 1974 New York, USA. He is an American actor who started his acting career in 1987 at the age of 11 performing in "Stand by Me" as Vern Tessio. He belongs to a truly entertaining and talented family. His father was an art director and his mother was an art teacher. He is the brother of model/actor Charlie O'Connell. Jerry graduated from the New York University in 1995 earning a degree in Film and Television. His first appearance on-screen was in between his studies. After completing his first movie, Jerry was back to studies and didn’t become a full time actor until he finished his studies. However, he did take part in several small shows and appeared in a few things along the way. During his junior year at NYC film school Jerry also studied screen writing and also decided to try out for two TV pilots: "Sliders" (1995) and a new Fox show called "Party of Five" (1994). He served as producer during his fourth and final season with the show, and is credited with writing and directing several episodes. In 1995 after graduating he landed himself in role of Bailey role in "Party of Five". Jerry has since gone on to star in such movies as Room 6, Man About Town, The Alibi, Fat Slags, The Screaming Cocktail Hour, Kangaroo Jack, Crossing Jordan, Romeo Fire, Buying the Cow, The New Guy, Tomcats, Mission to Mars, Body Shots, The '60s, Can't Hardly Wait, Scream 2, What the Deaf Man Heard, Jerry Maguire, Joe's Apartment, Sliders, Blue River, The Ranger, the Cook and a Hole in the Sky, Sliders, Calendar Girl, Camp Wilder, ABC TGIF, My Secret Identity, Ollie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss and The Room Upstairs. He is currently residing in Los Angeles with his brother actor Charlie.
