Isaiah Washington is an American television and movie actor. He was born on 3rd August 1963 in Houston, Texas, U.S.A. The actor is well known for portraying the role of Dr. Preston Burke on the ABC popular television medical drama, 'Grey's Anatomy'. He attended Willowridge High School in Houston, Texas. Before stepping into Hollywood he was in Air Force. He has performed in number of television sitcoms and also guest appeared in movies such as, "Dead Birds, Wild Things 2, Blood on a Happy Face, This Girl's Life, Hollywood Homicide, Ghost Ship, Welcome to Collinwood, Sacred Is the Flesh, Exit Wounds, Tara, Kin, Romeo Must Die, Dancing in September, Veil, A Texas Funeral, True Crime, Out of Sight and many more. He is married to wife Jenisa Marie Washington since 14 February 1999 ad the couple has 2 children together.
