Ioan Gruffudd

Ioan Gruffudd is a popular Welsh actor who was born on October 6, 1973 in Cardiff, South Glamorgan. He is born to parents 'Peter and Gillian Gruffudd' who both were teachers at the school. Gruffudd began his acting career at the age of 12 year in the Welsh soap opera 'Pobol y Cwm (People of the Valley)'. At the age of 18 he joined the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art to polish his acting skills and pursue his Hollywood dreams. In 1996 he was cast in a major English role in television remake of Poldark. Gruffudd has starred in number of television series and movies such as: "Fantastic Four, King Arthur, Century City, This Girl's Life, Hornblower: Duty, Hornblower: Loyalty, The Forsyte Saga, The Gathering, Shooters, Black Hawk Down, Hornblower: Retribution, Hornblower: Mutiny, Happy Now, Very Annie Mary, Another Life, 102 Dalmatians, The Miracle Maker, Solomon & Gaenor, Great Expectations, Warriors, Titanic and Wilde".
