Grace Kelly

Grace Kelly - Nov 12th 1929 - Sept 14th 1982. Born in Philadelphia, Grace Kelly was one of the most beautiful Oscar winning American film actresses ever to grace the screen. Although her parents were always against her becoming an actress, Kelly first appeared as a fashion model in her 1st film, Fourteen Hours, in 1951. From there, she started with a minor role in High Noon (1952) and starred in several movies such as Mogambo (1953), Dial M for Murder (1954), Green Fire (1954), Rear Window (1954), The Country Girl (1954), The Bridges at Toko-Ri (1954), To Catch a Thief (1955), The Swan (1956), High Society (1956) and with her talent she became the Queen of Hollywood. Grace Kelly was awarded the Best Actress Academy Award in 1955 for her role in The Country Girl. Her last film was the musical comedy High Society (1956) and after that she retired from acting and got married to Prince Rainier III of Monaco and came to be known as Princess Grace of Monaco. She is also the mother of 3 children.
