Eva Jacqueline Longoria

Eva Jacqueline Longoria was born on March 15, 1975 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is the youngest of four sisters, and stands at a reported 5’2” (though some say she is really 5’1”). Longoria earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. She was crowned Miss Corpus Christi, USA in 1998. A talent contest led her to Los Angeles, where she was signed by a theatrical agent. She began her television career with a guest star role on “Beverly Hills, 90210,” and then made her way onto the sets of “General Hospital” and “The Young and the Restless.” After a series of failed television and straight-to-video films, Longoria landed a lead role on the hit television series “Desperate Housewives,” which airs on ABC and has won critical acclaim and a strong fan base. She was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2005, and starred in “The Sentinel,” a film which also included Michael Douglas and Kiefer Sutherland. She continues to appear in magazines and lists for her beauty, and is currently dating San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker. She is slated to have roles in two films that will be released in 2007.
