Dave Chappelle is an American stand-up comedian and actor

David Chappelle is a well known American stand-up comedian and actor. He was born on August 24, 1973 in Washington, D.C. U.S.A. His father William was a professor of voice and music at Antioch College. His comedy talent was discovered in his early teens, while he was in school. He studied from the Silver Spring elementary school in Maryland and Yellow Spring School in Ohio, U.S.A. Dave also studied major in literary and theatre arts from the Duke Ellington School. He started performing stage shows since he was just 14 year old. He later moved to Washington, D.C. along with his mother, Yvonne Seon (who was a Unitarian minister). He first appeared on television on Def Comedy Jam show in 1992. He has also performed as an actor in the movie including, 'Men in Tights, Blues, Half Baked, Undercover Brother, Screwed, Blue Streak, 200 Cigarettes, You've Got Mail, The Real Blonde, Con Air, The Nutty Professor and Getting In'.
