Chris Klein

Chris Klein - Born on March 14th 1979 in Illinois, USA, he is an American actor who was first discovered in his high school by director Alexander Payne who was scouting locations for Election (1999). Klein moved to Nebraska with his family at the age of 13 and began his high school where he also took part in several plays. He won his first role of Paul Metzler in Payne's film, which opened to enthusiastic reviews. In 1999 he co-starred in the teen ensemble comedy "American Pie" and since then his onscreen performances include The United States of Leland, We Were Soldiers, Roller ball, American Pie 2, Say It Isn't So, Here on Earth, Just Friends and The Long Weekend. Klein has one younger brother and older sister and he is also a member of "Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity". His current projects include the postproductions of "Just Friends, The Long Weekend and Expats" which are yet to be released in 2005-2006.
