Brandon Routh

The popular American actor, Brandon Routh is well known for playing a lead role in the Superman latest movie, Superman Returns. The Superman actor was born on October 9, 1979 in Des Moines, Iowa. Routh finished his high school from University of Iowa. He later joined Norwalk Theater of Performing arts and took parts in number of productions. Routh was first seen on screen playing a role in the ABC television series Odd Man Out. His first successful performance led him the chance to star in CBS's Cold Case, NBC's Will & Grace, WB's Gilmore Girls and MTV's Undressed. The actor was also seen in pop star Christina Aguilera's music video called 'What a Girl Wants'. He is also best known for his role as Seth Anderson on soap opera, One Life to Live. He is currently busy shooting for 'Superman Returns' and the movie is expected to release on June 30, 2006.
